ABSTRACTS

*Abstract submissions have now closed*

Thank you to all those who submitted an abstract, you will be notified whether your abstract submission has been successful in the next few weeks

This virtual conference is open to early career researchers, clinical fellows, GP trainees and foundation doctors interested in improving the health of patients through primary care.

For this conference, we are particularly excited to learn from each other’s experiences to maximise the future effectiveness of primary care academics and leaders. We would especially like presenters to highlight what was unexpected and challenging when conducting their research, and how they were able to overcome this.

We welcome written abstracts on any research, quality improvement activity or audit work related to academic general practice. Delegates can select whether they wish to be considered for either an e-poster to be displayed on the conference website, or for a short pre-recorded oral presentation. You may submit up to two abstracts.

The pre-recorded video will take whichever form you feel best represents your research and you may use any medium for your presentation, including slides, music, dance, monologue, painting, photography, prose, poetry, sculpture. In addition, there will be an opportunity to answer questions on your work.

Abstracts should be 250 words in length and should take the standard format as follows;

  • Introduction

  • Methods

  • Results

  • Discussion

References, tables and figures should not be included. Please submit your abstract as a Word document uploaded using the link below. Prizes will be available for the best poster, best oral and most creative presentation.

The deadline for submission is Wednesday 12th May 2021.
